I want to design my company a web site, where do I go to find one?

that doesn’t cost anything. I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I have some good ideas.

you can get free templates, but not free websites.

google: Free web templates.

You design a site with a graphics editor – GIMP http://www.gimp.org/ is the best free one.

(Then you develop the site using a text editor – Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/download.php is good and it’s free).

And you’ll have to learn HTML and CSS. If you want a dynamic site (a static site is like a photograph – it just sits there), you’ll need to learn Javascript, PHP and probably SQL.

Microsoft Office Live Small Business is a free option to get started with a website. You’ll get a fourth level domain and 500 MB of storage. Templates and web design tools will help you create a professional looking website without having to know code. There’s also a great online community and online support to help with questions if you get stuck.

    Hi

You can opt for free web templates or do-it-yourself templates but you need to know that it has limited options. But this will be costing you more in the future just in case you want to make your web site grow to be more interactive or decide to bring in new features.
