how much do you get when you build a web site for someone’s company?
February 9th, 2010 | by admin |Someone asked me to build her company’s a web site. I know how to build one but I don’t know how to charge the service. What is a standard price to have a web site? Or how much do you get pay as a web designer? Anyone are welcome to give me an estimate.
Thank you
I know a friend of mine pays $40 per hour for updates etc.

You could do it on an hourly basis. You know, I’ll do it for $X an hour; or you can bid a flat rate. I’ll do it for $X delivered

The (professional) Web design guys who work for my company get something like $75/hr. (They’re 1099 contractors, though, so they have to pay their own taxes and insurance out of that). Depending on your background and experience, you could take that as a starting point.

Sorry but you had to specify in which country you live. I know that in germany it costs around 400€ a very simple webpage. In my country in kosovo you may get it for 200€.
