October 25th, 2010 | by admin |I’ve just started a web design company July 2010, offering seo and hosting. I’m in need of advise on marketing it to get work. If you have at look at my site and give me some advise. The more advise I get the broader community I will beable to cater too. http://diamond-designz.co.uk.
Personal advice
You may start with free lance web sites and get some work from there to keep the company running, and you will need agents to pass by the local companies in your city/country and start offering your services and solution to the clients
As a starter you need to go to the customer to get the deal, the customer will not come to you in this early step

Hi there !
I have been working as SEO specialist and Marketing manager for various companies from USA and UK as a freelancer. Best is always better. Do the things professionally. SEO helps you get the traffic to website. But ultimately what matters is quality of your products and services. One should spend money on quality rather than on Quantity. A good training and friendly working environment to your employees is always 1st preference. I said that because if your employee are happy, your customers will be happy.
Be professional and be innovative, people will use your services. Plan your things before you do them. Someone have said " If you fail to plan, you are planning for failure then".
I had a quick look on the website.. Design is good. Need to recheck all links if they are working well. I found some those are not in place. Have a QA of website. Also you need keyword research for targeting relevant keywords. Add more to portfolio i.e be specific about the jobs done in past for clients.
I think this is enough for now.
Cheers,
Rattan

Hi, I think you need more sites in your portfolio. One way would be to offer one or two charities a free design (though of course they’d have to pay for hosting etc.) Make sure you state from the start what you are prepared to do for free and stick to it – as they will take advantage if you let them. This would also provide you with a couple of extra links to your site (if you put them in the footer) and may even lead to further work (i.e. updates etc.)
Have a look at the charity choice website where you can advertise free services for charities.
I hope this is of help and best wishes for your business.

First of all you do SEO for your own website then try other things for it.
