Are there any good free web hosting companies?

I need a good forum hosting company. i want a free domain, (No .webs.com) and i want a high level of customizing ability. I don’t even care if they force ads, any suggestions?

You can get a hosted forum for free at a wide range of sites.

This way, no coding knowledge is required and it is very easy to manage.

    Hey!

    What are you planning on doing with the site? (a forum for what?)

    There are ways around this… you can get a free domain i.e. http://www.freewebs.com/yourdomain & have it renamed via http://www.dot.tk

    you can rename anything to get your free domain.

    But it’s going to be extremely hard… well near on impossible getting a free domain & free hosting.

    Hosting can be as little at $2 a month

    then you can go to http://co.cc/ or http://dot.tk/ and get a free domain, update the name servers and add it as an addon domain and you are set!

    So that i say my experience…I hosted my site as Free Of cost,that is safe Free HOST….Because i got the .com Domain name registration at low cost http://www.tucktail.com/ in that site….they provided me Free blog,Photo album,also Free Hosting and More FREE services,so that that is Possible….

    I think you can build site using 000webhost (http://www.000webhost.com/390255.html ) which is giving PHP & Mysql support. If you build your site with their subdomain, then you can link it with http://www.yourname.co.nr domain name at http://www.co.nr (they will provide only free domain name/ no hosting)

    Free web hosting comes with ads. I’ve actually compared and found that iPage is the best. I finally settled for iPage web hosting and got a free domain name: http://www.webhostingbreak.com/ipage-domain-registration/.
