Is there a web hosting company that (including with their shared hosting packages) offer real flash streaming?

June 14th, 2010 | by admin |

I am currently with 1&1, and have a site where I let members watch films (legal films that are in public domain). Some films are around 40min and the users would like the ability to skip to any part they want without having to wait for the entire flv video to load in the flash player.

You might have to get dedicated server and host the movies on your site. Not sure how else a hosting company would let you do this.

You’re best bet is to go with HostGator. The offer and support flash streaming. I host a few sites with them and couldn’t be more pleased. I decided to go with them because of the affordable price and the included website builder. I just found a $10 off coupon if you decide to go with them. Just type coupon code "greatsites" at checkout.

    Best of luck!
